"Why not back into his arms then? Varity's tend to be quite possessive. I'm sure she'll be well looked after." Cass sneered, and Ari sighed in exasperation, glancing back to his van where he knew Kat was with her little sister.

"Cassidee, you listen to me right now, and try not to be so judgmental." He snapped at her. "Look. I have her, and her little sister with me now. They're trying to get AWAY from him. Cass, he's hurt her so bad, he's scarred, beaten and abused her. She's only managed to escape now. Ashes hates me, he's sure to suspect me of helping her get further away. But he'll be hunting her down, and he'll check me, but I doubt he'll check your house. She's got a little sister who she's had to raise...she's only young. "

"So. You drove from there all the way out here to dump them on me?"

"Honestly, I think she'll keep you company. She's a friend of mine, so I'm sure you can get along with her." Ari stated dryly, making the blue and purple haired girl growl.

"Aye right. She was with a Varity." 

"Was, Cass, was."

"Was...Ahh, fine. Jeez. But listen, if this doesn't work out, and I can't stick the lass or her wee sister in my house, I'm calling you and you gotta come pick 'er up alright?" 

"Cheers Cass! I knew you'd come around."

Cass shook her head. "Nah. I'm doin' this outta pity. I feel sorry for the woman, having to endure Ashes for that long. And don't you worry if Ashes comes 'round here. I'll sort him out." 

"Right." Ari bobbed his head before gesturing towards the van. "If you'd like, you can come introduce yourself. I meant it when I said i think you and Kat will get along fiiiine."
